Tai Chi is a mind-body exercise utilizing slow, relaxed movement, a quiet mind and
deep, natural breathing that stimulates the flow of chi (intrinsic energy).
When the chi flows harmoniously, the mind, body and spirit are in balance, enhancing
one's physical and mental well-being, relieving stress and improving health.

Mondays 11am-Noon - Full Form*
In this class we will learn and review the entire 37 posture Yang short form.
Mondays 12:30pm-1:30pm - Beginning
Learn and review the basics, including mental focus, postural awareness and
correct mechanics of each move. Attention is given to relaxation, mind-body
connection, and the first third of the 37 posture Yang short form.
About Barb Larsen: Barb has been practicing Tai Chi for over 20 years. She retired from an Information Technology career in 2007. She received permission from her teacher, Steve Arney, to teach Tai Chi in August of 2012. Barb teaches Cheng Man-ch'ing's 37 posture Yang short form. Barb's teacher, Steve Arney, was a student of Benjamin Lo, who was Cheng Man-ch'ing's most senior student.

It is a combination derived from the philosophies and forms of White Crane, Big Geese, Wisdom and Fragrant Qi Gong. As a practice, It periodically returns to all main Acupuncture points and organs to bring energy into them, to maintain health and vitality, enhancing Qi. Cost: $10 per class monthly; $12 drop in.
